I was trying to send out shielded Zec from my Zashi Wallet back to my Coinbase account. I created the transaction about half hour ago and nothing has happened. Was wondering if I had to unshield my Zec first before being able to send it out. Or is there a slowdown in the network right now that is causing a delay?
I havenât checked that. I wasnât sure on how to. Having a bit of issues finding out how to on Coinbase. Iâll give it a few hours. If not, Iâll give it another try. I appreciate the response!
You donât see any transaction history? Then how do you know you made the transaction in the first place?
If your ZEC is transparent it should be shielded before itâs sent out for privacy. From shielded you can choose to send to either transparent or shielded addresses.
Sorry, what I meant is that I do not see how to find the block explorer or transactions in Coinbase. The suggestions through google seem to be outdated in terms of the layout of the Coinbase app.
I tried sending from Zashi to Coinbase, but after the confirmation page nothing changed. The shielded ZEC is still in the Zashi Wallet.
I have it shielded in the Zashi app. Was trying to send it out to Coinbase. Is there a way to unshield it then before trying to send it to Coinbase?
@Jmo0615 Can you confirm which release of Zashi youâre on? This can be found in ââŚâ menu > More > version number below the Zashi logo.
Also, when you go to send the funds from Zashi, what result screen are you getting after pressing âSendâ? Any screenshots of steps along the flow will help. Feel free to blur out amounts and addresses. Thanks.
Thanks. If it ends up on âTransaction Pendingâ, it means it wasnât able to be successfully broadcast to the network and it will retry for a bit. Typically this suggests connectivity issues, locally or with the remote server.
Can you check your current server settings at: ââŚâ menu > More > Advanced Settings > Choose A Server?
On that screen, it will perform a server test. Wait for it to complete, then choose the fastest server at the top, and âSave Selectionâ.
Check afterwards for those transaction records in your Activity list, and try a test transaction for a small amount.
Also, do you currently have the Tor feature enabled?
Thanks. Just to confirm, that server was one that appeared at the top after the test?
No need to switch on Tor, though wanted to eliminate a variable here.
I see youâre connected to Wi-Fi in your screenshot. Could you try sending a test transaction from another network, or just your cell connection with Wi-Fi off? (Without an explicit error being thrown, and with zec.rocks working here for me, Iâm thinking this is more likely to be local connectivity.)
By the way, weâll have e-mail ticketing support up and running shortly. Glad to continue this there if we need more debugging.
