NVIDIA GTX 970 = 50 Sol/s

I will test out my 980ti in about an hour or so and see what happens with settings on that.

Can you post the batch file you are using please?

I’m not using a bat file just eqm -u YOURBTCADDRESS -t 0 -cd 0 1 at the prompt

Give some more details; OS, CPU, RAM, latest drivers? Brand of cards? Make sure they run at full speed, try to restart OS, do you get some errors/warnings when you launch the miner?

i7-6700 - 16GB Win 10 64bit 2x Geforce G1 Gaming GTX 1070 Driver ver 21.21.13.7570

cards fitted to the MB no risers and changed bios setting to gen3

Initializing thread #0 (CUDA-DJEZO) GeForce GTX 1070 (#0) PB=2, B=90, TPB=128
Initializing thread #1 (CUDA-DJEZO) GeForce GTX 1070 (#1) PB=2, B=90, TPB=128

44.6467 I/s, 83.3233 Sols/s

Is the whole ā€œlocked pagesā€ thing is that just for servers and not peoples personal computers?

Thanks

Edit

6700k and gtx 1070 … 92 sols . A lot better than what I have been getting thanks!

Maybe WDDM issue? Check winver is 1607

Locked pages can be enabled on every Windows OS, but you should be careful with that. If another app also wants to use locked pages not properly, your PC may run out of free ram → crash/reboot. Thats why it is disabled by default.

@mista66: What happens if you launch only first card? And what if only second one? Also, what result you get if you run benchmark?

Hope you’ll eventually reconsider this. You can’t make money off of people that don’t want to use your service due to other miners and pools being more profitable.

tried that earlier it’s 44 Sol/s each one which benchmark ???

Check with GPUZ with what freq. card is running, and freq. of memory too.

GPU clock 1961.5 / 1999.5
Mem Clock 1901.2 / 1901.2

cheers for the reply!

does the method posted above by a nicehash account work for windows 10? for locking pages?

Yes, it works.

@mista66: I have really no idea, are you sure your cards are GTX 1070 and not 1060? ^^

Also, what load does GPUz shows when mining is active?

There are defo 1070 dosen’t matter i’ll try changing the driver will let u know if it improves

thanks for your help

edit those clocks are with mining active

update: I found that these GPUs have GDDR5 Micron memory these chips have issues with early BIOS version so I’m going to try flash the BIOS to the latest version and see if it improves

update: 2 flashed BIOS and changed drivers no change

currently running with 2 x G1 1070 GTX GPU’s and 4 i7 CPU cores at a stable 110 Sol/s so nice improvement with the first propriatory release

Good job nicehash

You think so, I’ll check thanks

you have anyidea why I would be getting windows cant find ā€œgpedit.mscā€ when I’m trying to lock pages?

Try with run and not search.

yea sorry that is with run. there any other way I can message so don’t have to spam the hell out of this thread :stuck_out_tongue:

nevermind its ok , thanks for the messages tho!!

Hey!

I’m only getting about 58-59 Sols/s with my GTX 1080. It should get a bit more than a 1070 (it does with one of the other miners for Windows where I get just above 70 Sols/s) without mining with the CPU. Same result if I do.

I’m using Windows 10, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1080 in PCIe3 without riser and an i5-6600k at 4.5GHz. I’m using the latest Nvidia driver 375.76 (hotfix).

I haven’t locked pages since you don’t recommend it.

Any ideas?

Any plan to release a Linux version?

Play with parameters. We don’t have any 1080 at hand to test it. But yes, it is indeed very strange to reach lower speed than 1070.
