@AnorakSupra Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!
Added VBIOS for AMD R9 Nano 4GB
PS: VID -75mV, 250 watt TDP, 190 A TDC
This rom may introduce instability due to reduced power settings!
PS2: Core clock 950 MHz, VID -75mV, 250 watt TDP, 190 A TDC
Jesus Christ people need a hero. I do not intend to be rude but I have stated several times that your ROMs are so wrong from a stability standpoint it isn’t even funny. Simple editing with Polaris Bios Editor or one of the other Bios Editors is VERY LIMITED in what it can accomplish.
If you are making your own ROMs then great but you are passing them out to others and they are not worthy of that. I would suggest learning to add the stuff you are doing to the ROM directly by hex editing and it will give stability. Any monkey can adjust straps and power in Polaris Bios Editor but knocking off 100mV to a bunch of ROMs is crazy if it is done in an Editor and the ASIC Leakage and EVV aren’t accounted for:
On a side note- nice write up at the beginning
The roms I provide are created to help those, who can not or won’t use the available tools and techniques to modify a BIOS, or invest the time to find the individual best settings for each card of their rig.
Those roms here will definetly not work in all cases. But they give a good average starting point.
Modified clockspeeds and VID / Powerratings are based at least on several sources from different platforms, where my roms still are configured to be less aggressive.
As you state, advanced editing of the raw roms via Hex editing gains more efficiency and stability. I have been into this topic for the last couple days. But I refuse to relese some half cooked knowledge. When I get my head around this, I will update the content here anyways.
Until then I provide some VBIOS with minor changes and optimizations.
Any news on the Samsung chip ?
Not yet. But I have contact to a technican of a supplier. Not sure if he can do something, but I propably get message soon.

Thank you
I will test Memshift + OC tomorrow.
hi Please add mod bios RX 470 Red Devil 4GB
With original bios claymore V7 get 133sol/s
I also need powerclock dragon rx 470 4G !!

Estimate around 9 hours before I am back.
Hi, please you can add Gigabyte Rx 470 G1 4GB (GV-RX470G1GAMING-4GD). Thx soo much!!!
Can you teach me how to brush the BIOS? I really want to learn this knowledge and I can provide many models here graphics for your test
Hehe, there is not much to teach.
I think the first source you should have a look on is this: Polaris Bios Editing ( RX5xx / RX4xx ) | Overclock.net
There you will find the most information you need.
- Added VBIOS for Powercolor RX470 RedDevil 4GB
- Added VBIOS for Gigabyte RX470 G1 GAMING 4GB
非常感谢,难道现在你还没有休息么,这个行业太熬人了
不用謝。 煮沸的人是最重要的,即使味道是壞的。
You still use English to reply me, you this reply in Chinese I can’t understand completely, the translation software is too bad
