Near the bottom, in between saying why GPU;s are better than CPU’s he mentions ASIC’s, bitmain and inno. he also puts 2019 in there.

You underestimate XMR community, people are still using/buying GPU for mining XMR because they trust the direction of XMR, that’s why in bear market, the market decides the value of XMR higher than ZEC.

if this was the case - wouldn’t XMR’s hashrate move upwards? hashrate seems pretty much stagnant.
ZEC will probably flip XMR exchange rates whenever trademark/devfund is figured out. uncertainty is absolutely brutal for zcash, but it’s temporary.

Until there are real scenarios of application, the price will only decrease, or the general pump in the market will change the price. I hope that this year the team will come up with where and how to use the coin in the form of an exclusive offer rather than buy-sell on the exchange.

Hasn’t even halved yet, I’d say we’re in good shape.
At some point the market will bust free of the bears grip & they’ll have a really bad time.

The development of mobile wallets and the introduction of lightweight clients are not work scenarios but simply tools, until they figure out why and where to use, nothing will change. For example, there is a jackhammer tool, but how often do you use it, I think that never, and why, because it was not necessary, that’s the same story with zcash, it exists and seems to work, but what’s the point if nobody needs this tool every day .
Now, if some recognizable site started registering anonymously through a zcash wallet and, ideally, accepting coins, everything would change.

super cool!! imo, instanbul is just as-big-a-deal for zcash as-it-is for ethereum
now that is almost here; gunna dig deeper into instanbul …have a feeling we’re going to see all kinds of exotic financial products built.

This is nice, will buy some zec to make me feel even better…i want to reduce my quilty feeling- if zec shoots up and i did not buy enough😉
These cheap ZECs are quite addicting indeed. I find myself evaluating everything I look at in my house in terms of its value in ZEC. Converting physical items to accumulate as many Electric Coins as I can at these prices.
