BTC needs to break 9k and next week needs to stay above 9k to get back into bull teritory. This is possible but unlikely. Unfortunately the most probable scenario would be for BTC to reach 9 - 9.2k and to dump next week. Bitcoin dominance is rising. Theres your negative correlation @boxalex BTC pumping ALTS dumping. The correlation is slight but its there. This is good for the market.

ZEC tried to test $40, but got rejected. ZEC did defend +$35, tho. zcash really needs to flip $40 to support within a week. if we can’t flip support - sub $35 levels will probably be tested again. have a feeling we could be stuck in the $35-40 range until TM/devfund issues are worked out.
pretty good sign $40 test wasn’t violently rejected.

As a comms person, pre-announcements make me nervous. It ain’t real until the agreement is mutually signed and published.

BTC is officially in a bear market and the bulls are trying to invalidate the bearish trend breakdown and trying to break out. We are in a bull flag but the target for that flag is around 20k and I dont think the bulls have strength to push all the way there. If we close next week above $9200 we will be in a bull market.
And on the bears side I present exhibit number 1.
In an actual bull markets no one has to scream on twitter to convince people that they are in the bull market.
