I can see some advantages for using them. Maybe if you were making donations to some kind of fund and they wanted to be fully transparent as to where your donations were going. They could use T addresses. Would also maybe be useful for parts of our government to provide transparency to the public on where our funds are going when paying taxes and things. Just some random thoughts here …
