Should i increase my core voltage with msi afterburner or does it really give any benefits?

You only need more voltage if your card gets instable when overclocking.
If you run the card with stock speeds, you should consider to reduce the voltage to save power and reduce heat.

Thanks :slight_smile: For some reason though when i try to increase my voltage to 1100 from 1050, my screen goes dark even with the same overclocking that worked before?

Depends on the GPU. Some GPUs can not take much overclock and/or voltage.
Or it could be related to overheating.

Also the GPU has a max power limit. When it uses more power (watts) due to overclock and raised voltage, it will shut down.

The only way to avoid this is by manipulating the BIOS and changing the max power limit.
