Funny how you guys made fun of the open source miners which couldn’t reach 40H/S like your R9 290s but the open source miners are actually hashing right now unlike yours.

Unlike I’m sure others think, Toomim has been in this since the beginning ONLY for his margin and his greed caught up. He and has made no effort now to work with / suggest options for refund to those who “trusted” in his efforts. He’s a great salesman but the reality is that his product does not work.
For those who are interested in refund please note it in this thread so he figures it out. I for one no longer “Trust” this guy and I’ll be even more pissed if he does not offer refunds.
zec price has down to 6 btc from 100btc above , lost such a great change to get invest money back, I think it will be very difficult to get invest back in future

And the open source miners are still being optimized and developed so they are likely to improve upon their current hash rates. One reason why open source is great is that it allows for the kind of decentralized development and opportunity that protects cryptocurrency (among other things) against single points of failure.

I remember how he went to every single open source miner thread and gloated how theirs was better and “No you can’t have it”. The other dev, Tromp he at least helped out others with miner developments.

Never going to happen. Especially since you all paid in BTC. Maybe if you paid by Paypal or Creditcard you could get a refund somehow.
He had more than enough time to test his setup. Most likely it is working but with this wild price surge, he mined it for himself(just my unsolicited opinion). He will make amends to compensate all your first day troubles when the price settles.
Now, if we can’t get our invest money back Through mining, We all can claim refund according to the term.
He will have to liquidate his newly bought GPUs if he has to refund which i think not going to happen. But yeah too bad toomim missed first window cause they could’ve mined a few zec by now and break even. This kind of opportunity comes only once.
Either Toomim Bros fucked up and had no idea what they were doing, or they scammed everybody and sold the zcash at massive profits. Either way, its a fucking disaster.
