A huge thanks to dont for providing a whopping 1/4 of the funding goal!

I let my (144,5) run overnight to collect solution rate statistics on nonces 0 through 999, and as Stanley Kubrick himself would approve, a total of 2001 solutions were found! I will next port (144,5) to the CUDA miner…

As I mentioned in another thread I have a decent amount more however all my money is in $USD. There’s something up with my Coinbase account and they are not responding to my tickets, very frustrating. I’ve signed up with Circle but they say it’s going to take several days of validation to get by account up. Maybe it’s time to reach out to localbitcoins…

Thanks, @iCimo. And @gunzeon as well!

Come on guys, this one’s really worth contributing to and will really level the playing field in terms of mining capability.

For those who are confused about the terms: he’s offering to open-source a powerful CPU/GPU (CUDA) solver in exchange for 20 btc.

The funds will go to a non-profit project called “Cuckoo Cycle”.

Dr. Tromp, could you regularly post a countdown in hours to the deadline, so that we all know where we stand? That would be helpful to the cause, I think.
