Unstoppable is a third party developer. You’d have to email their support desk to get ahold of any of them. The issue appears more server-based, but Zwcwallet light development ended a year ago, so it’s actually not that surprising.
Which method are you using to reimport the account into Ywallet?
It’s important to remember that the wallet must be fully synced before you can do anything with it.
ZecWallet Lite is not maintained anymore, and the same applies to the server it uses. Unfortunately due to the way it’s implemented, when its server is down, the app does not open.
I am currently trying to sync 20 sub accounts from my original seed to see if I can recover my funds. Something very strange is happening I can guarantee
It is kind of strange, but it’s also likely one of a few known issues.
My unstoppable wallet is downloading blocks, albeit a little slow but not too bad.
It is now fully syncd. The problem may be perhaps that you have so many accounts that trial decryptions on all them are taking longer than the average block time.
This entire thread is embarrassing. This poor bastard doesn’t have access to his funds and has no idea how to get them. Maybe Zcash Media can donate some ZEC to him.
The wallet seems to work just fine*. Why he’s having this particular issue isn’t really apparent, just a lot of frantic posts that don’t help much. Your post doesn’t make much sense, either.
(fine, aside from the whole lack-of zip317 compliant fee mechanism)
This kinda verbiage isn’t gonna help zcash become more popular either.
Especially from the official ZF community liaison.
Then why haven’t you solved it for him, wiz-kid?
Dude look through the catalog… this isn’t the first time someone is in the dark of where their funds are.
Your reply is absolutely tone-deaf.
The user’s first post made it apparent that they had effectively imported a key or seed. But then after that, I’m really not super clear about what’s going on. They claim something strange is afoot and are posting other posts all around to a similar tune. I call that frantic. This comment about Zcash media donating to their cause doesn’t make sense and so I told you so. The overall problem with the wallet not syncing is not true, I just synced it today. If you wish to continue attempting to goad me into an emotional response, then by all means, though I will say it is likely in vain.
It synced for you, but it may not sync for others. Let’s try to work the issue without jumping to conclusion.
Yes, this is what I wonder now. They mentioned they’re trying to restore 20 sub accounts which leads me to think hey may have an excess of accounts on unstoppable wallet but I don’t know. Perhaps a network issue like I said it didn’t sync terribly fast though it wasn’t super slow for me either. But I only have one account on it.
I decided to wait and today I checked unstoppable wallet to see if it would sync. I reported the problem to the team on GitHub, and the bug is currently on the “to do” list for the next release. I was not lying, I have absolutely no reason to waste my time here. The wallet started to sync again and very slowly, but it’s working again.
I will make sure not to use this wallet anymore, because it doesn’t sync correctly with YWallet and all other mobile wallets for Zcash. If they hide the funds on other sub addresses, this info should be provided to the user.
I have friends in other countries and their wallets were not syncing too, just to clarify. I was talking about unstoppable wallet not syncing with zcash network and ALL THE other mobile wallets were UNABLE to sync with my seed. For some reason it seems the funds stay on other sub address which is NOT provided to the user. Stay way from this wallet.
This change output mystery is the problem. If unstoppable wallet doesn’t let the user know which address the funds are, something is very wrong with this app. I’m waiting my funds to sync and I’ll start to use another wallet. Thanks everyone for all answers.
Unstoppable uses the ECC SDK. I think @pacu is familiar with it and can help you.
a few days ago I’ve asked @xmauron if he would kindly detail some steps that help me understand the situation better.
I kind of have an idea from what I’ve read but I could be assuming things wrong and therefore offer incorrect advice.
I don’t mind if @xmauron would rather send a DM (although the forum rules might not let new users send DMs)
Anyhow, having a sequence of events will let me or any other understand the situation better since there might be a variety of things that could be happening.
I think the issues may related to the fact that Unstoppable uses lightwalletd.electriccoin.co as their endpoint and the certificate expired. ECC was notified of the issue 11 days ago and it doesn’t appear to have corrected the issue. Y
It doesn’t appear to be the case at the moment

AFAIK, I think a certificate error would actually trigger an AppError inside the unstoppable App, which I don’t think to get from the user’s feedback on the thread.
Woof, I am out of ideas. Let me know if you want me to help connect you to the Unstoppable team for trouble shooting.
