Hello all, this is my first post here so sorry if I'm missing something obvious. I've been looking around at the cloud mining solutions and can't figure out a use case for them. From what I've seen, my $1000 rig will mine at 45 sol/s. Renting the same hash power from zcash cloud mining sites would cost $4300 for a year. Am I missing something, or is cloud mining only worth it for those who can't build their own rig?
also for people who think that there will no stable and fast mining software for GPU @ release date (in 4 days). I've bought 60H/s from GM (for 2400 $).
If there will be later an stable GPU Miner (maybe from claymore) I will build my own rig. And also only if it's rentabel, at the moment no one know it....
can you tell the config hardware of your rig?
What are your electricity costs? What is your time worth monitoring your mining rig? How much will downtime cost you? It's more than just hardware.
I just speak about config for get 45sol/S so just an hardware
