they don’t even need to be on separate lines, and if they aren’t you don’t need the backslash, which is just an “escape” character in a programming sense
hey CCQ, who are the mods and how do i get in contact with them?
I think one mod is @Shawn. Tagging (with the @) might get their attention through a notification or you could PM them from that tag I just made. Don’t know if there are others and who they are.
thanks a lot ccq <333
While Zcash has lost 30% hash over its peak, zmine has doubled its own over recent lows. It’ll be nice to see the pool’s reward frequency accelerating instead of decelerating.
Where can I get the build instructions?
If you haven’t figured it out yet I suggest you look at chapters named “Dependencies” and “Compilation and installation”. They can be found on the github-page I pasted earlier…
Total network mining power didn’t exactly shrink the way I’d thought it was going to after peaking, but it’s been bouncing roughly 3million sol/s practically every 12 hours. I wonder how much of it is people switching back to zcash/coming back online vs people really leaving but being replaced by newcomers.
that would be interesting to know!
@razakal I’m getting the following errors, as are others Zmine.io:1337 Can not connect
stratum | Connecting to stratum server zmine.io:1337
stratum | Could not connect to stratum server zmine.io:1337, Connection refused
stratum | Reconnecting in 3 seconds…
Me too…
Since 3 hours ago.
The pool is down?
Hello, has anything changed in the stratum zcash-miner. It seems like it does not connect to the pool anymore.
Yes. It does not connect to the pool.
the strange thing is the hashrate which chagespage,on their main page, even though the number of workers remains the same…
Shares are coming in again. I think the hamsters powering the servers just woke up.
don’t you find it worrying ?
Usually hamsters need just 2h sleep… ![]()
No mail on the site, no news, nothing… just mining since a few days without any info.
Furthermore, the are not listed on the top 15 miners and the difficulty go on rising while no new miners
zmine : 5,4 kH/s → 5 days without a new block
nanopool : 1,138 kH/s (but just changed the payment to 0,005 instead of 0,001)
flypool : 4,000 kH/s
I find it unworrying that on resuming all my shares and the miners balance are as they should be.
But I admit it wouldn’t hurt the pools confidence to have more frequent news.
That added to the fact that the frontpage is suggesting “obsolete” miners I could see how someone would not be convinced.
And ńeed I remind that it’s always a good idea to have a fallback pools as readily available as possible, no matter what coin or pool you are primarily mining on.
Yesterday worked some hours, but the pool is down again…
Some feedback from the admin would be nice.
