Zebra On A Mission ![]()
What if learning Zcash felt like an adventure instead of a tutorial?
A lone zebra walks through mountains, deserts, and forests, collecting transparent Zcash coins.
Above, surveillance drones patrol the skies, trying to reveal how many coins the zebra is carrying and track every move.
On the ground, lions and other obstacles wait for the perfect moment to attack before the coins can reach safety.
The mission is simple… but far from easy in the game.
Collect the transparent coins.
Reach the Shielded Pool.
Shield them before anyone can track them.
Halfway through his mission, the adventure takes an unexpected turn. the zebra receives an urgent call from his friend Zuzu the Donkey.
“I need to send you money,” Zuzu says.
But there’s a problem.
The fees are too high, and the payment method is slow and frustrating.
Will Zuzu discover a better way to send money?
With one mission complete, another challenge begins., Zebra receives another urgent request.
Dodo the Camel needs to pay an overseas supplier before his shipment is released.
But there’s another challenge.
He wants to keep his business finances private without sacrificing compliance.
Can you help Zebra protect Dodo’s privacy while keeping his business compliant? (Viewing Key)
This is an educational game concept we’ve been thinking about.
Instead of asking newcomers to read documentation or watch tutorials, the goal is to let them experience Zcash through gameplay.
Every mission introduces a real Zcash concept - Shielded Pool, transparent vs. shielded transactions, viewing keys, low-fee payments, and privacy - not through long explanations, but by making players use these features to overcome challenges.
Beyond education, we believe this could also become a new onboarding path for Zcash. By reaching people who already enjoy gaming, we can introduce Zcash in a fun and interactive way, helping attract new users and encouraging broader adoption.

Would you play something like this?
We would love to hear your feedback and ideas before moving forward with further development.
- This isn’t our first educational initiative. Our Arabic Academy already offers interactive lessons, simulations, and programming courses with many students as we believe gamification and hands-on learning can make complex topics easier to understand.
