Hello, here are the latest project updates from ZecHub;

Major Achievements

Project Updates

Eventful month! ZecHub DAO members ranked their top selections for the ZecHub Hackathon. Winners were announced. Congratulations to Tron for 1st place on his project ZEC Bounties, a bounty program management platform with integrated ZEC payments! DAO proposal A115 passed to continue its development for eventual use by ZecHub and add him as our newest DAO member! All projects are available to view, modify or reuse here.
Thank you to all who participated, we hope to see your Zcash apps in production!

This year for the Zcash 9th Genesis Anniversary we brought back Poker Night. It was successful with many new people joining the Discord. We had a parallel game of Gartic happening - thanks to Dismad & Kenzo for DJ’ing the voice chat. Afterwards we held a 9th Anniversary X space with Jason McGee, Alex, Josh and Zooko with the theme: Zcash War Stories: Celebrating Resilience. Thanks to everyone who joined and shared!

In early October I attended Dark Prague to assist the Zashi team with onboardings and ZKAV Club with interviews.
I joined the Digital Gold Talk podcast and later participated in Crypto Quorum Ep. 28 hosted by Dash. I reviewed publications sent out via substack. Created clips for the Near Intents ZKAV Collab interview, kept ZecHub’s Treasury Dashboard updated, handled ZecHub Store Orders and managed the Bounty Program - Tasks listed every Monday, reviewed during the week and put through for payment processing on Sunday. The Ecosystem Digest was edited, posters created and posted on Sunday’s. I am working with Maine toward an animated video on red-bridge and Michael19 on a Crosslink video explainer.

Vito has posted articles on Substack, Free2Z, X, Bluesky, and Mastodon. He edited and posted Arborist Call Clips on X with subtitles. He has been maintaining the Zcash Global Discord Server and restreamed events such as Arborist Call. Vito created a new publication sent out via Substack summarising meeting notes from the ZecHub Sync Meetings. He edited and posted the Zcash 9th Anniversary call to the Youtube channel. The Shapeshift collaboration work is in-progress.He has started work towards editing and publishing the rest of recordings taken at Z|ECC summit. Vito will be attending Cypherpunk Congress in Buenos Aires next month.

Kroy created a new logo for use on namada.zechub.wiki. This will be used in our application to be featured on the Namada Apps page. He also created Posters for the Zcash 9th Anniversary and the graphic used for the Z|ECC interview with Josh Swihart.

Bug Reports Submitted:

Core team had a meeting to extensively test Zkool. Overall we had positive results towards our eventual use of FROST.

We had a meeting with Elise toward setting up My First Zcash v2. This version will improve uniformity of writing style and graphics used throughout the workbook. A team is being assembled before we set out a plan and timeline. We have purchased two domains for MFZ v2.

Following feedback from DAO members requesting a method for privacy-preserving voting we attained access to SIV for testing. We also have an upcoming demo with the Enclave CRISP team. Thanks to Jason McGee for putting us in touch!

We also added a new dashboard for the transparent pool. This adds to the picture and cleary shows ZEC leaving CEX’s. Awesome.

Hi everyone, please look through ZecHub project updates during November:

Major Achievements

Project Updates

We began November with a community call with Penumbra. We have been working closely with their team towards engaging with contributors to the project. First steps have been to survey potential applicants. Badge NFT’s were created for use in the upcoming Crosslink Milestone 4B Workshop.

ZecHub Bounty Program Weekly Tasks were listed, reviewed and put forward for payment by FPF team. ZecHub Treasury was updated and ZecHub Store orders processed. Edits and artwork created for Zcash Ecosystem Digest editions. ZecHub Sync Meetings were hosted and article for ZECpublish written and reviewed by 1337bytes. The ZKP & zkSNARKs wiki page updated. Zechub - Zcash tech | zk snarks.

Presence on Reddit restored thanks to @fireice_uk. One of our Guides pinned to the r/zec subreddit Reddit - The heart of the internet

I participated in an X space with Elzz “Why Privacy, Why Now, Why Zcash?” and a X space with Privacy Chronicles yesterday introducing them to Zcash. A podcast episode with Unstoppable Wallet is scheduled for this week!

  • November has been a super busy month between Thanksgiving and everything going on. We have hackathons, retro coin votes, governance discussions, and lastly the most competitive ZCG election EVER! Our number of tweets went down yet out monthly impression went to an ATH of 276700! We can contribute this to the number of eyes on the Zcash ecosystem increasing which is fantastic to see.

  • Our best tweet this month yielded 36k impressions!

  • Areas were negative vs last month:

    • zechub/zechub-wiki PR’s and contributor counts
    • Twitter best post
    • daodao approved proposals

  • We had our biggest increase EVER for Twitter followers and YouTube was closely behind! 26% and 17.5% vs last month respectively. That puts us over 1K followers on YouTube for the first time! \o/ Moar folks are curious about Zcash education then ever before.

Thanks, I put a bit of work in de-trollling it (6 months ago you would get downvoted by a Monero brigade for saying anything positive about Zcash on /r/zec). If someone wants to help me with re-posting content there, it would be welcome :slight_smile:

Hi everyone here is our latest project update:

Major Achievements

Project Updates

This month began with several community focused posters and videos related to the ZCG election encouraging greater participation.

We were joined by iBek from Unstoppable Wallet in the latest installment of the ZecHub Podcast. We covered the new Zcash development work done by their team - check out the full episode on our channel!

Thanks to Vito Meile dVPN looked into the BTCPay Server plugin for Zcash. Using the ZecHub guide @FreQnik from MathNodes was able to quickly integrate orchard payments. We followed up with a community call held with Sentinel and Meile dVPN hosted by squirrel. Meile has since added Namada to their native IBC payments and are actively looking into Penumbra.

Vito did post production on the Z|ECC interview with Daira Emma, curated editions of Shielded News and created clips from the Arborist Call.

Dismad tested Zkool on multiple platforms in addition to several Bug reports for the wallet, he updated data sources for ZecHub Dashboard and took part in the Crosslink Milestone 4B workshop. The Crosslink Badges were sent to all participants that completed the form. If you took part and would still like one please comment!

We held a fun Quiz night with the community on World Flags, Zcash & then played a game of Geoguessr. We have also welcomed and onboarded Kroy and Tron to ZecHub operations!

  • December was a month of celebration and resolve. While we had less overall activity due to the holidays, we ended the year with highest ever Twitter engagement, and ATH’s in followers for YouTube and Substack Newsletters. We believe this is being driven by the current interest in ZEC price, privacy education, and noteable engagement from diverse groups on the heels of a massive hackonthon. We have never been more excited to continue our work into 2026 with the approval of our 2026 grant.

  • Our best tweet this month yielded an impressive 298.4k impressions!

  • Areas that were negative vs last month:

  • We had our biggest increase EVER for Twitter top post! 728% vs last month. We also had a notable increase in newsletter subscribers this month with a total now over 500 zebras!

Updated Lockbox (Preview)

This shows the the recently depoyed NU 6.1 t3 multisig Community Holders fund. In particular notice the slope of the blue portions of the graph. You can see when inflation changed indicated by a less steep slope. You can also see the “saw-tooth” pattern the blue lockbox funds build which is rather beautiful. :student:
