I tried it out a few days ago, and the visuals showed significant improvements. I sent a few suggestions. The sending and receiving functionality worked well. I’ll keep testing it.
This is not the first time I have used the Zingo on iOS; however, this time, I chose to test out the Android app. At first, I had no idea what to expect from it, but I was very impressed.
Tested the Zingo Beta (and had my 14 year old daughter test it too) and I’m impressed. UI has significantly improved: easy to navigate and looks so smooth too! I also like how it’s now easier to see how much 1 ZEC is worth at the time of sending. KarenT and team, you guys are absolute stars!!
NB: my (crypto newbee) daughter now sends me messages and ZEC’s on Zingo for fun—mission accomplished, I’d say, for making Zingo user-friendly and accessible to all!!
Given a synced wallet the computationally intensive steps in transaction construction use the librustzcash implementation so they’ll be the same speed as other lrz wallets.
If “from a cold start” means a wallet the was not in sync with the blockchain at boot, the pepper-sync provides efficient syncing that makes send available quickly.
