I’m a bit of a mining newbie. I’m mining zcash on a GTX 1070+i7 4770k currently, but was curious if you can use two 7950’s? I heard something about the vram bottlenecking more than 1 card?

I have 7 7970’s running on two separate systems getting great results - for the money spent on them. I use Claymore’s miner:
I’d expect that since the 7970’s and 7950’s to be almost the same card, you could get action…give it a go and see what happens. That’s the only way to know for sure.
Why not? I am using my single HD7950 3GB to mine ZEC at the moment though there is only minimal profits after factoring in electrical cost.
I’m running 2 HD7970, getting 500 h/s.
