3 cards windows 7 help

Current setup:
Windows 7 64 bit
3 gigabyte 980 ti
1500w power supply

I’m getting code 43 for one of the 980 ti’s in device manager, the other 2 work fine.

Is there problems with more than 2 cards in Windows? it’s driving me crazy, I reinstalled drivers about 6 or 7 times, disabled the device and hard reset it.

any suggestions?

Run DDU in safe mode and then a clean install of the drivers…

If error persist, remove one of the cards that IS working, and put the card that isn’t working in its place, is the card working or still the error?
If you run that card (solo) in any slot do you still get there error? if yes its probably a bad card

Thanks, I think I narrowed it down to a bad card…When running it by itself the temperature goes crazy, it’s almost like there’s no thermal transfer at all. Card runs super hot on idle, display drivers crashing etc.

What’s weird is, the card that I got working runs 15 degrees warmer than my original card. I’ve had to undervolt that card to maintain temperature. I’d hate to throw water blocks on a now $300 card.

if it’s under warranty RMA it, I would and I do
