Data point: The only reason I didn’t contribute a donation was because I read “pls make sure to put a refund address in the metadata” and then remembered how hard and annoying it is to specify a memo field with zcashd. You have to hex encode your text, and I always thought you also had to pad it out to 512 bytes with nulls (I realized just now that you don’t actually have to pad it, which reminded me to leave this comment).

That’s why ZecWallet is so popular :slightly_smiling_face: makes memos and adding a return address super easy. ECC mobile wallet does similar.

now that we’ve reaached our fundraise goal, so i wont have to refund the txns… you can always donate without using the memo field :slight_smile:

Hey all,

It’s June 15th, the end date of the fundrise end date.

I’m happy to say we’ve ended the crowdfund campaign with ZEC 351.7 / USD 18572 in my wallet(s).

I’m going to confer with the dev team and circle back in a little bit when we have the featureset for this integration planned out + more of a firm grasp on a launch date.

Sorry I missed your question! I meant the Gitcoin dev team, we have about 4 engineers on staff and another 4 engineers in the community that we work with on Grant stuff.
