As we saw with Monero, basically all mining will shift towards a closed-source pool miner with a significant transaction fee, because gpu mining will be 5-10x more cost efficient (and something like 30x -100x more cost efficient when number of cpu cores is the bottleneck).
Some good cash would come out of it in the first few months before an open-source miner is released. And I’d be up to open-source it eventually when someone else open-sources one.
Looking for someone else with solid c++ / cryptocurrency dev experience, even better if you’ve happened to work with opencl / cuda ect.
