Based on recent US news, Binance.US is now effectively disabling ZEC trading on its platform. Both the ZEC-USD and ZEC-USDT pairs are being taken down next week.

I’m also sad to see the way privacy technology is being received. Not with open arms but with hostility. Sometimes I think the wrong people are working with governments to build responsible legislation. I always appreciated those from the crypto world who wanted to voluntarily help the government form reasonable legislation rather than take a hostile stance towards any legislation; because hostility towards any legislation means letting governments define their own rules and it’s essentially forfeiting a seat at the table. We’re all for safety here so I blame those who had the naive idea that any legislation could be fought off as much as I blame those who crafted the legislations which have amounted to outright bans.

No worries, privacy coins like Beam also got delisted recently and Grin has never been in Binance since the beginning. And they’re still growing.
