Yeah I also anticipate the initial price discovery to land somewhere between $1 and $3 (USD) per ZEC.

During the initial blood-bath (immediately after coins start hitting exchanges) I wouldn’t be surprised to see it hit USD$30/ZEC before it settles down though. So be careful out there and don’t get slaughtered in the first few days after launch.

If every block is discovered ever, 2.5 minutes, with 12.5 ZEC reward per block how is possible in day one only 83.09 ZEC will be out? Shouldn’t be 7200?

This is due to slow mining start for 10 days after launch with 0.2ZEC per block.

Still don’t get it…:pensive:
day 1) 1440 Minutes a day /2.5 block per minute * 0.2 Zec per block = 115.2 ZEC
day 2) 2880 Minutes in 2 days / 2.5 block per minute * 0.2 Zec per block = 115.2 ZEC
…
day 10) 14400 Minutes in 10 days /2.5 block per minute * 0.2 Zec per block = 1152 ZEC

Note the numbers have changed from 50 block reward to 10 block reward
And 10 minutes to 2.5 minutes per block.

The first block reward is almost zero and increases linearly to ten zec (I excluded the founder’s reward portion) over 20000 blocks.
