Hello there and Welcome! ![]()
Recommend EWBF miner befor nicehash version, allways getting better rates there and nice with the function sols/w.
Looks like you are running Windows, so if you want a local wallet on your computer you can use zcash4win, to mine zcash directly to. Or some kind of exchange like poloniex works well 2.
Good luck! ![]()
I own all these cards aswell ![]()
Get the same results as you except for GTX 1050ti.
But im getting around 170 sols/s on GTX 1050ti
Allright, got things rolling finally. Thank you, thank you (Y) (Y)
“On nicehash did you go to settings and enable nvidia o/c?”
If you mean the P0 state, then no. It was unchecked. After enabling it and restarting Nicehash Miner, it unfortunately made no difference in the Sol/s. Gtx 1070 still at 330
Installed Zcash4win and then realised that something was way off. After running any of the batch files in Zec miner folder, the miner dissapeared. Avira antivirus was to blame. Funny, that i didnt even get a notification… just poof, gone. After disabling the antivirus, i got the nice Sol bump i was looking for.
Is it normal, that the memory is only running at 8500mhz instead the overclocked maximum of 8900?
Looking nice
same here so annoying when anti-virus protection just deletes things that aint virus.
Don’t know if it’s “normal” that the GPU aint maxing out the memory during zcash mining, but I have the same on all of my 5 cards ^^ guess the algo prefer GPU clock
Any idea, why one of the cards in the rig decides to drop the TDP power consumption from 100% to 60% and some times back up? The Sol difference is from 420 to 350 in that gtx 1070 card when the drop happens.
Click on “Change Advanced Power Settings” Expand “PCI Express” > “Link State Power Management” and change that setting to “Off”. Might this be something to do with it? Didnt see a change but i havent rebootet the system also yet. The Asus Gpu Tweak tool that im using at the moment is set so that the cards use 100% of power. My best guess would be that it’s throttled back to reduce heat
Mkey, so gonna try to up the temperature threshold in Asus Tweak to see if that makes a difference.
Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong here? I’m trying to use EWBF’s Zec Miner 0.3.3b to mine zcash, but I’m getting this error when I run the miner.exe. Using the miningpoolhub batch file, this is what I have in it:
miner --server us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --user fakeuser.x --pass x --port 20570
I’ve checked to make sure all of the info is correct (I’m using my real username), but still I’m getting this error:
“ERROR: Enter all the necessary data, like server, port, user and password.”
Hoping someone can point me to what I’m doing wrong. Thanks!
I would say you either didn’t create an account there, or didn’t register something there correctly, or don’t have the correct username.machine name password.
/sigh
So it turns out I’m just a noob, haha. I was running the miner.exe file directly. Once I ran the miningpoolhub batch file, the miner started working perfectly.
FYI.
1070 KF2A EXOC sniper edition:
-490sols/s
-total pc consumption 240W (GPU+CPU+hdd…)
A little off topic, but what website are you guys using to transfer Zec from Zcash4win pc wallet to your bank account as Eur.
Kraken exchange works flawlessly for me.
Did you find a solution? I am having this problem as well, particularly only for the GPU which I use for my monitor output. I have swapped the GPU’s and still have the same issue on the GPU assigned to the monitor.
I have A problem with my 1070 going to 90 degrees the whole time. Can I tune it down a bit so that it does not hit 90 all the time and stops for a while?
YES, set the max temp somewhere between 69c to 75c either in the config file or overclocking software
The Max temp is set at 90 and it reaches 90 quickly, so I would like to reduce the work load if that is possible.
Excellent!! Yes, one of those fixed it. I presume it was the NVIDIA control panel setting (my PC was set to high performance already), but hard to tell for sure. Thank you much for your assistance. .
