Fundraising campaign to represent Zcash in Europe

Here is the summary of Day 4 and closing of the BNEW. A great tech event in Barcelona, wich allowed us to learn a lot of things and current trends, but specifically talking about Zcash and blockchain technology and privacy, it made us clear that here companies and citizens in general are virgins in the use and implementation of these technologies.

In 4 days of event if only 2 times the word “Blockchain” was mentioned, and there was never a mention of “cryptocurrencies”, “Bitcoin”, let alone “Zcash”!

I was able to talk to some entrepreneurs and businessmen, and the generalized word around the crypto topic is: FEAR.

And around the topic of privacy is: Why do I need it? How can I make money out of it?

Of course, there is openness for new technologies and education. The challenge here is regulation, because people are very afraid of state regulations, fines and things like that, but there is infrastructure for adoption.

I am trying to connect with other crypto communities, at least one Bitcoin community, so I will be telling you about my progress soon.

Next week we will be in Madrid, in another event of the tour, the Madrid Tech Show. Clearly, another event that is not about Blockchain, but there is always an opportunity to meet new people with whom you can make contact, agreements, alliances, collaborations, etc. Always be on guard!

This weekend we will dedicate it to seek to contact digitally with organizations or communities here that might be interested in learning about Blockchain and Zcash technology. Wish us luck…

Keep in touch.

We have successfully completed the tour that brought us to Europe to cover and review the events, to network, establish contacts and see opportunities to promote, educate, disseminate and use Zcash, its wallets and its philosophy.

And there are!

@AuraBritoSM and I thank all of you who have followed this forum thread, our networking content, and pushed us to continue building a better world. May it sound utopian to us! Great follies and dreams only become reality if we act accordingly.

I am more and more, with everything I have seen in these events, and heard from people (locals and from other parts of the world) , I am convinced of the Zcash technology, that people need to be empowered, educated, and that I am in the right community.

Thank you all! And stay tuned for the next things we will be telling you…

Hello, community!

I would like to share with you this article I wrote for the Zcash en Español website, where I share with you the lessons I learned during my recent tour around Europe.

I think there are important learnings and reflections also for the whole community and we should read, comment and discuss them.

Thanks to all of you!
