@Genesis-Mining. You provide an answer to the “When” (“Soon”) but not to the “Why”.
I appreciate your efforts. I wouldn’t want to handle mining myself and I’m gratefully paying your share. When you don’t provide answers, you leave too much room for imagination.
Is there a problem, Yes or No?
Yes: Please elaborate. Sh*t happens, let’s deal with it together. No: Please share your plan on payouts. What are the steps that need to happen behind the scenes for the payouts to execute, and what is the current ETA for each step?
That is what we posted some days earlier as a reply to a question Karl asked. October 29 was mentioned but we require a full day of mining before payout. Since Zcash launch started quite late in UTC time, it was not sure if we were going to make this. The payment schedules we have in place are quite large and very complicated. But we will know very soon, so please be patient for a little while longer.
I am more interested to see if Genesis will at least improve their mining power. I paid in BTC, using a charge on CC is not a possibility. Furhtermore, .My laptop with a 870m CPU combinned is making 20h/s, where as Genesis I paid 2.0280 BTC for currently 30H/s
With all the improvements there is no reason they could better the algo and actulayy make customers happy. Silentarmy/extremal code is something that all should implement.
@Genesis-Mining, Thanks for giving some more information about the what’s going on, but practically, there’s nothing much in it. You say that because ZCash launched late, then you’re late as well.
Why? What’s the dependency? Why can’t you release as scheduled the very liitle coins that were mined in the short time left in the first day of mining afte zcash released?
I understand it’s hard to give an exact estimation, but you’re being unprofessional, and actually unfair, holding to the “soon”. Let’s try the following model instead please:
What is the current ETA for the payout?
What is the level of certainty you have in that ETA (i.e 10%, 50%, 90% chance of making it?)
When is the next time you will have a better visibility on the ETA and the certainty?
If you tell me “we have a 50% certainty of ETA in 5h, but we will know better in 1.5h” than I do my own math and risk management, and won’t bug you for 1.5h, expecting an update at that time.

Well, our payment processes are lenghty, so if you added the address fairly recently, while the process had already started, then it would not know about the address. Sadly that cannot be changed and will be picked up at next payout.

Unless you paid with credit card, then it is seen under My Account > My Orders, under Pending Balance.
