Genoil's ZEC Miner

some scripts have renamed Genoil to run multiple instances

E.G.
Genoil0.exe
Genoil1.exe

Then seperate batch files using
-g 0 or -g 1 and pointing to the relevant .exe

FYI, using 16.10 drivers instead of 15.12 yields in way better hashrate with 79x0 / R9 280(x)
If you have several rigs, you just have to grab the compiled kernel from a rig with 16.10 and put it in the kernel/cache folder.

Nice. THANKS FOR THIS TIP!!!

@Alexfox - your script is god. It was crashing every 4 hours or so, and even though I still get the windows crash window, it’s still running in the background. <3

Whoa! The 7970 / 280x are now FASTER than my 470 or 290.

Once again the Tahiti prove to be the #1 miner GPUs.

1 gpu on x16 riser and other 3 on x1 to x16

thanks a lot. The genoil miner is stable but it is hitting 0 (zero) Sols after some time and gpus not restarting.

I created one bat-file named “mining.bat” with your script (:loop
genoil.exe -c equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357 -u YourBTC.YourWORKER -p x -f 2
goto loop)

but it did not restart the miner unfortunately.

Hi. What does your script do and how do you use it? I’m looking at the start.bat file. Where do you put the wallet and pool address? I dont’ see it load the genoil.exe file.

No i dont run cpu i have -P 0 command.

Can you give a model and brand for the Tahiti gpu?

It’s heavily reliant on the inbuilt watch-dog and I’m not sure that is working fully. With multiple GPUs I think the powershell script might work better.

That said it seems to be ok for me but I only have 1 GPU per system

I got tons. All the way from the 7950 to the 280x.

They are all the exact same speed. Same clock on each one. 1100/1500.

I’m not familiar with Tahiti. Is that a memory chip?

Thx for the miner. Running stable 0.4 and 0.5 with own script. 35-40 sols an 1x r9 390

Mat be old drivers? Dunno, i’m running on 16.9.2 on widows 7 64b…
GPUs on x16 and pcie risers x16- x1

@Genoil, your latest release, 0.6 is beast! Much more stable. Hoping to not need the “0/s watcher armed”, thanks again!! donating!

0.6 started, then got one zero gpu, then all.
now they cannot be started again for zec, but work for eth just fine.
mystery
before you tell me about bin and -k zec or zec zec-tried all combinations and deleted bins
program is receiving jobs, but not engaging the GPUs

0.0 Bug - Please Fix

@Genoil

From 2 different machines running a mix of different cards. Seems like it should not be to hard to find this problem?

I have not seen the code. But it seems to be when we receive a new job from the pool. At the same time we are trying to submit as solution. The mining thread then thinks something is broken and just quits. It should instead be informed that it is just a stale share and should continue with the new work?

This would explain why it has been coming more in waves for people. Cause of high pool load giving high latecy. Hence people ending up in the “Stale Job”-state more often → More of these 0.0 situations.
