Hello Zcash Community,

I am excited to nominate myself for a second term on the Zcash Community Grants Committee (ZCG). Over the past term, I have worked diligently to steer ZCG in a direction that balances prudence with impactful funding decisions. Leveraging my skills in software engineering and my experience on other committees, I have contributed to sound decision-making and helped advance our mission. I believe that ZCG’s role is paramount to the success of Zcash, and I am committed to continuing this crucial work.

During my tenure, we have been conservative in our approvals but focused on funding projects that will contribute significantly to Zcash’s success. Below is a list of approvals since I’ve been on the committee:

Community and educational projects, which are what will drive the use of Zcash in people’s day to day lives.

I didn’t see any on your list, other than ZecHub…

5. Is there something else you’d like to see ZCG prioritize funding that’s not listed above?

Because ZCG is the only organization that can legally fund traditional advertising afaik, I think that should be prioritized.

Taking this great Zashi video from the ECC, as example. Not even 400 views, in 2 months… that is downright pathetic.

It would make a lot of sense for some 3rd party to be paying for more views/ clicks to core Zcash products like Zashi.
