Zcash Ambassador Monthly Report
Reporting Period: March 2026
Ambassador: Elzz
Introduction & Monthly Summary
In March, I focused on refining how I position, communicate and introduce Zcash to new audiences.
I worked on improving content effectiveness and developing higher-impact pathways for ecosystem exposure. This included simplifying protocol updates for everyday users and advancing new approaches to reach larger, more relevant audiences.
The emphasis was on strengthening clarity, expanding reach and aligning Zcash with where meaningful Web3 conversations are already happening.

My content this month focused on clarity and accessibility.
I hosted a Space around the NU7 upgrade with @Autotunafish from the @ZcashFoundation breaking down the update in a way that connected technical changes to real user impact.
I also shifted from traditional articles to long-form content, which is currently showing stronger engagement and better audience retention.
In addition, I started leaning more into broader privacy education, helping people understand why privacy matters before introducing Zcash itself. This approach strengthens the foundation for Zcash-related narratives and makes onboarding more natural.
Key Initiatives
- Expanding Ecosystem Reach
This month, I began developing a broader approach to ecosystem engagement focused on increasing Zcash’s presence within larger Web3 environments.
The direction is to position Zcash within high-attendance events where relevant conversations are already happening, with the Women in DeFi Summit identified as a key opportunity for April.
The objective is to:
• increase exposure to crypto-native audiences
• position Zcash within active DeFi and Web3 discussions
• create stronger entry points for new participants
This initiative is currently in progress, with funding pathways being actively explored.
- Initiative Progress
I developed and submitted a sponsorship proposal for the Women in DeFi Summit, aimed at positioning Zcash within a high-attendance, crypto-native environment.
The proposal is currently under consideration through the Zcash Community Grants @ZCG
- Ecosystem Engagement & Learning
I attended Zcomm, where I engaged with sessions focused on builder activity within the ecosystem.
Key areas covered included:
• partnership development
• organizing large-scale hackathons (Zypherpunk)
• designing engaging workshops and roundtables
• building communities around privacy and shared values
These sessions were directly relevant to my work, particularly around structuring onboarding experiences and improving how participation is driven within the ecosystem. I look forward to more builder focused events like this in the Zcash ecosystem.
- Recognition
This month also included strong ecosystem-level recognition:
• Acknowledgment from @zooko appreciating my organizing and educational efforts
• A follow and engagement from the @ZcashFoundation on X
• Increased visibility through reposts and interactions
Community Growth & Engagement
Engagement patterns this month indicate a stronger response to simplified, direct communication.
My long-form content and protocol breakdowns are making it easier for users to understand what is happening within Zcash and why it matters.
There is also continued interest from participants previously onboarded through workshops and sessions, showing sustained engagement beyond initial entry.
Challenges & Adjustments
This month required refining both content format and distribution approach to better align with how the audience consumes information.
I adjusted away from lower-engagement formats and focused on clearer, more direct communication styles that better translate technical concepts.
In parallel, I began exploring more scalable ways to reach and engage new users beyond smaller, isolated environments.
Next Steps
• Execute and represent Zcash at the Women in DeFi Summit come April 25th, 2026
• Continue simplifying protocol updates into clear, user-focused content
• Strengthen Zcash’s presence within relevant Web3 conversations and environments
Conclusion
My priority remains consistent: improving how people encounter, understand experience and Zcash.
This month, I focused on refining my approach, strengthening clarity, improving communication formats and positioning for higher-impact engagement.
The next phase is execution at scale.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the Zcash community and the continued support from @ZecHub and everyone.
