Radeon 7970 makes 280sol/s and can be picked up for under $100 uses about 200watts.

@BUTUZ Nice, do you know what kind of Sol/s you would get from a 7870 or a 7770?

I just did a quick Craigslist browse and found those for $40-$50. My rig currently only has two cards, would be nice to grab a couple more on the cheap (if worth it)

System in IDLE = 163W
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 355W
Difference (GPU load) = 192W
Add average IDLE wattage ~3W
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 195 Watts

Hi Shawn. Don’t know the exact numbers for 7770/7870 but I know it will be very low. All of the really low end cards drop off a cliff. Much better off having 1 x 7970 rather than 2 x 7770 for sure.

gtx 1050 ti hashed at 171 using only 62.24 watts

you get a 1050ti, get just under 200 h’/s i think, at about 60W or so…
or 1050 if you cant afford 1050ti

dont get a 900 series card instead… too many watts
