Help rename & rebrand zec-qt-wallet!

Hello Zcash Community,

As you all know, zec-qt-wallet is probably not the best name for a Zcash Desktop and Mobile Wallet. It was a name I picked randomly, and it has stuck with the project since it’s inception, but now it is time to rename it to something better!

I’d love to get feedback around what it’s new name should be.

We’ll put the most popular names to a poll, and then hopefully pick one!

So, what should we call it?

Some ideas,

Z-Wallet

Stripes (like a Zebra)

Equid (also a Zebra reference)

Camo (for Camouflage)

Aegis (type of shield)

Palisade (defensive barrier)

Just a few off the top of my head

EZee (as in ‘easy’, its simple to use and has a ‘Zee’ sound to it)

How about something that doesn’t even try to be descriptive, like ‘people names’ beginning with ‘Z’ (but obviously not named after our tireless leader :wink: )

For example :-

Zac (quite like this one, it’d make the wallet a ZEC Zac)
Zeke
Zane
Zackery (combination of Zec & Hackery…idk)
Zoe
Zephyr
Zeta (Apparently means ‘armored battle maiden’)
Zeva
Zara

Still think a Zatoshi should be a ‘Zit’, but that’s just my weird sense of humor at play. :smile:

Edit: A zaddr->zaddr transaction could be ‘Zending Zollars & Zents’

“Phalanx” is, like, a cool word. Phalanx use shields, plus members are uniform & hard to identify.

So many great names! I really like Phalanx.
I also like the simple ZWallet, because we could call the derivative wallets ZWallet Light or 'ZWallet Android` or something
