I’m Kellyjoe and I am pleased to announce my submission for candidacy for the Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) Committee.
I initially joined Zcash as a cryptocurrency enthusiast and have consistently admired the commitment to privacy over the years. My background includes experience in marketing and community management, alongside various DeFi-related tasks. Since becoming a member, I have actively contributed to the community, playing key roles in content creation, educational tutorials and designs. I have always wanted to be a part of something which has growth in vision
My vision for ZCG is to empower the Zcash ecosystem by supporting projects that enhance accessibility, usability, and adoption, while upholding the privacy and decentralization principles that define Zcash. I believe that strategically allocated grants, clear accountability, and increased community engagement can accelerate the growth of Zcash as both a technology and a real-world financial tool.
A primary objective will be to foster the growth of the developer ecosystem by cultivating an environment where developing with Zcash is as straightforward and comprehensively supported as development on any prominent blockchain. This necessitates investment in superior SDKs, APIs, libraries, and multi-language reference implementations, enabling developers to seamlessly integrate shielded transactions, manage addresses, or construct Zcash-enabled functionalities without requiring extensive protocol knowledge. Equally important is improving documentation, tutorials, and onboarding guides to reduce friction for newcomers and accelerate development cycles.
I want to serve on ZCG because I am passionate about seeing Zcash reaching its full potential. By serving on ZCG, I aim to help the Zcash ecosystem not only maintain its technological leadership in privacy and zero-knowledge research but also achieve broader adoption and real-world utility. I am committed to listening to the community, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting projects that have high intent potential to strengthen Zcash’s long-term sustainability and relevance. More than the rewards, I plan to make sure that every grant dollar is effectively maximized.
