Miner- Claymore's Zcash Miner

fair enough but you are still making assumptions, or not?

he " tried afew miners " didnt like the stability

Then afew days later releases a miner

Unless hes neo (the one) from the matrix then he is using an existing kernel.

but have fun paying the fee for fancy colours and pointless commands.

Guess you don’t know much about Claymore  As far as developing mining software, he is Neo. He did not just take SA and roll it into a mining wrapper. All is stuff is written from scratch. Take a look at his ETH dual miner. Nobody was getting the ETH performance he put out, although the fee is only 1%. He will pursue every bug till they’re fixed and probably up the performance a bit along the way. Not everyone in this world is a dishonest scammer, whether you’d like to think so or not.

FYI, I don’t use Claymore, either for ETH or ZEC, but I don’t think folks should be accusing him of stealing others code for his own profit when it’s not true. Claymore has been around the mining circuit for a long time and has a very good reputation. There are people that know he develops all his code from scratch, and they are people I trust. 'Nuf said.

Yes… I think Windows 10 (64bit) should give some better results… I am running OS on SSD HDD with 8gb ram and a dual core 4th gen cpu. Ensure you have stock settings on GPU. I am using gpu risers on my rig i.e. 1x to 16x. RX480 8GB giving 41 hs.

Running Claymore miner on Windows 10 (64bit) for almost 48 hrs now without a single error!! Amazing! Those looking to mine on Windows should immediately turn towards claymore… Its doing good hashrate and making good profit. I am running 10 rigs and getting 1.8 kH/s

If it’s good for me, it does not mean it’s good for you.

he is and he is waiting for silentarmy to release nvidia so he can add that too… he sat around while others did all the hard work, once he saw he could use their work he jumped in and pretended to be a hero… kind of sad

let me guess… another person who has never mined on linux?
you know there is a claymore linux release now? you still think windows 10 is better for mining? actually the linux one gets a better hashrate by about 2-3%

both crash after a bit on my 7 GPU though, silentarmy is the only one rock solid on that system

So you guys think he coded it all from scratch in a couple days? Or that he started working on it before zcash was released and just happened to finish now?

And how would people know that he codes everything from scratch?

which drivers and what script settings u use?

Guys u really dont need to run Claymore win if u dont agree with the fee,no one forces you to mine with that miner actually,u have linux, nhqminer, genoil, etc…dont be so rude and negative towards Neo,miners are trully stable and good,at least for my old cards, the only thing i can suggest for benefit for all,is to reduce fee to 1% maybe, would be much different story and alot of miners would use Claymore…

I don’t get the claymore bashing. He released and network Sol/s rate jumped 30% in a few hours. His customers are happy. There’s no proof he broke a law. He’s making a fat profit (12 ZEC in 24 hours like he’s made is like a 100,000 Sol/s setup with zero initial costs and zero electricty). More power to him. A zerohedge fan complaining is ironic.
