This is a lot truer than windows users know, and there is no learning necessary to using it like windows. Installing Ubuntu is as easy as installing a windows program. You can start a dual boot system easily, selecting the OS everytime you boot, windows or ubuntu.
Instructions:
- “shrink” your harddrive using windows to make room for the new OS.
- save the ubuntu install file to a USB stick. Leave it in the USB port.
- reboot. Choose “install” or “use once”
- Select time zone, user name, and password.
- Finished
Immediately start browsing the web and open/edit your Windows Office files, images, etc from the windows folders if you want.
Install “classic menu” and flash to make sure everything is the same as windows. Do a google search to see how easy adding applications is. You do not search for and click download links from web pages. You type “sudo apt-get install app-name” and it is installed.
I forgot I was using linux after about 20 minutes. This is my first time, about 4 months ago. I’ve logged back into windows about 3 times to use an application not found in Ubuntu.
Everything’s the same, except when you want to fix something, it takes 2 minutes of google searching instead of 20 minutes. The support answers from everyone are not bloated and inane. You can actually see everything that’s going on in the OS and control it.

yup and I was just working on a video tutorial for ppl here, but after reinstalling ubuntu i learned claymores miner definetly damaged some of my hardware… tomorrow I have to figure out if its GPU, Motherboard or risers that are damaged

No. Why get so upset about claymore that you become dishonest? I think you’re the one with a bunch of videos trying to help people, so maybe you’re just mad he has mad profits on what you and many others give away. Speculation is that one or more of the exchanges bought from themselves at inflated prices in order to drive the fever. I don’t know if I believe that, but nobody paid a million dollars for a ZEC or any part of one, IMO.
