It’s time to start learning GPUs and start selling CPUs. I need 20 cards.
What cards do yo want?![]()
that’s like asking a 20 year old which woman he wants. that’s a big question and i have no idea.
Highest Sol/s vs lowest power draw is probably the RX470. BTW you are going to need USB PCI-E risers preferably ver 005 or v006.
Would it be best to have 1 PC? And which one, prefereably from ebay. I already have a rx470 4 GB and riser to play with, based on the wattage.
??
How do you find the right version on ebay or such? (005/006)
I ordered a bunch of the above, though I couldn’t tell you what version they were lol. Ironically I’m not even going to use them now
Fixed my issue with 390 also. Stable on 80
On Amazon (both UK and US) for example you can zoom into the photo and see it written on most risers.
For ebay you can find links from the Ethereum mining forum to different versions and/or who sells them outside ebay aswell.
VER:3.0

You can also see on the lower than Ver 005 and VER 006 that the caps have 100 on them
Usually VER005 are blue boards.
BTW
NEVER EVER use those shitty sata to molex adaptors (throw them away ASAP), they are a fire hazard. Always use PSU to Molex DIRECTLY !
Max 2 GPUs per chain…
I believe Claymore is a windows developer at heart. He had someone else create a linux version of his cryptonight (XMR - Monero) miner, who somehow lost the source code so he only releases new windows versions for it as well.
Please do something with the high CPU usage. Core i7 33% on all cores.
better cpu seems to improve hashrate. maybe add an option for cpu usage seperate from gpu usage or -I option??
Test again with 3.1.
V3.0 was way too unstable. But V3.1 is stable and frighteningly fast. And Claymore alludes to more speed on the way. He is really wringing it out. Even my RX 480 is running above 50 H/s now.
yes and super low power draw
definately can pull more out of it i bet
My cpu’s are not running hard either. Not sure what is causing some to. I am not mining them though.
