Miner- Claymore's Zcash Miner

some guy is getting 140 H/s from this miner r9 390

So I’m having a weird issue with one of my miners… I have 9 in total
Arock H81 Pro Btc
Intel g1840
8 gb ddr3
80gb SSD
Windows 10
6x R9380 4gb Gigabyte
All my other miners are working great except that fucker number 4!!! Claymore zecminerx64 is always crashing and I can’t figure out why! I getr watchdog error on GPU0 ( this is only miner it does give me this error ) then it will crash and not reboot ( even with command ) I tried different cards, risers etc and can’t seem to pin it down.
Yes I have switched virtual memory to 16gb

Asus R9 390 @ Win 10

Good Job , make the fee 1%

Damn… 90 H/s?

and you’re still complaining about the fee lol

7 days ago i posted this : R9 390x what hash? - #3
and everyone was acting the same way , i guess we’d hit +150 H/s per gpu in less than a month

Hi, I am getting 55-56 H/s on RX 470 8gb vs 46-47 on RX 470 4gb using 3.1
Wow. a modest 4 card rig=200 h/s (638w at the wall), nothing modded.
caused big crash of my PC when I tried -i 1. Had to reboot two-three times.

you can try over 55 Sols/s on rx470 4gb
1050/1900/860 to about 90 ~ 100w each GPU.
rx 470 x 12 to 1220W from the wall. (2 rigs)

That’s a useful and life saving information.
Thanks (as always)

I am really impressed with 3.1 and its speed increase.

Arsenal has 3x XFX RX 480 OC 8GB using modified bios with 1750 straps and 2100 Mhz memory speed.
Chelsea has 1x Sapphire RX 480 4G (Elpida memory) using hex edited 1750 memory straps and standard clocks and 1x XFX RX 480 OC 8GB with the same bios as Arsenal.
Tottenham has 1x XFX RX 480 OC 8GB with the same modified bios as the others.

I need to play around with the fans as I dont like the temp up that high.

Really, really, impresses. Changed my miners back from Ubuntu for this and I am very happy to pay the 2.5% dev fee for these speeds.

Can u specifically guide how you achieve this hash rate and BTW did you achieve this rate with claymore and Asus R9-390??? Which version of claymore? Windows ?

V3.1 stable on all machines except one, which is a 7 card rig. Few minutes in one of the GPU’s ( always at index 1) would report 0 sols/s, the watchdog will restart the miner, and “Desplay driver stopped working, has recovered” error pops up, and then the system just crashes.
Some people pointed out that it could be a riser issue, but I’ve tried isolating the faulty card by running each card on its own thread, and they work fine. Its only if I run one instance of claymore’s with all 7 cards that this problem occurs. I’ve tried moving from modded bios to stock, different driver versions, and this keeps happening still. Any clues?

Dude who gives a shit about the fee,

Whether you make $101/day or $100/day, does it really make a difference. Open source miner you would make $50/day.

I think he would prefer 15 H/s like the previous miner :stuck_out_tongue:

Can you tell me more about using the hd 7850 with linux?
Is claymore with linux still better with it than SA?
I see fglrx 15.12. Is there any other software I need to use tweak it?
Any special notes on running it with claymore or SA?

Yeah but I don’t think the fee matters right now. Most likely in 30 or 60 days we might all go back to ETH mining anyways. If ZEC is still profitable to mine back then, other miners will be released OR Claymore will lower his fee back then.

Right now its crazy profits $4/day with his 390 and before ZEC was launched his 390 was makin $1.50/day max with ETH. And yet he is still complaining about the fee.

Install Windows if you have that GPU.

You’re always so cryptic. Why use that card with windows? I need to run the CPU and GPU.

You don’t want my help then fine…

You can use the Nicehash miner fork (with Xenoncat solvers) for windows aswell as Claymore’s miner.

2 different instances

I’m running hd 7870 on Ubuntu 14.04 with fglrx 15.201, and it’s better with Claymore v1.1 than silentarmy v4. Claymore give me 26 S/s, SA gives me 22 S/s, stock clocks. I think SA concentrates IMHO on newer GPUs…

EDIT: SA gives me 22 S/s with --instances 2 parameter. I cannot run --instances 3 even with any changes to the param.h recommended in SA troubleshooting guide.
