I have a wife and young daughter. They can’t use linux.
if they can use windows, sure they can, they just have not tried
why is windows so different? hell things are even easier to install in linux with free software managers
have you even installed and used ubuntu or linux mint for example?
Ok, bro go play Gothic, Homeworld, Kerbal Space Program or a myriad of PC games.
not everyone have nerves nor time to explore lunix compile errors etc. with years nerves becomes luxury…

i reinstall my OS’s all the time and linux these days is easier to install and set up with all the programs you could want
except for games, those are better on windows just due to the fact not many companies make games for linux, but thats changing slowly with steam
manjaro for example comes with steam pre-installed
Dude, Linux does not play the games they want to play. I’ve used linux many times, but that doesn’t mean my wife wants to learn it. They certainly don’t want to give up the games we all play together.

I’d suggest running a fan curve to have the fans on regardless of the low core temp. While the core temp is nice and cool, the VRMs could be very hot with no fan over them.
its awesome, silent army love smy 7 GPU rig. I think its more stable than claymores
had claymore drop a GPu then try to restart and it failed to restart
and that was in like 5 min of testing it…

I see fixed usage of 930MB on Rx400, running Claymore
I’m getting this error
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.1
Windows 10
6x rx 470 8g sapphire nitro
My rig was running and I shut down the miner to add GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 then I got this error. And now not just Claymore but Genoil won’t run.
Has anybody tested different CPUs on this miner? I know on Genoil’s miner people were having issues with the Celerons bottlenecking.
you lost your RAM… it’s now less than 4GB?
