Anyone, not counting Trolloniex who’s not in os-reinstallation mood yet, with Fury cards ??

Windows miner here, please compile and will happily pay dev fee

@Optiminer or anyone else, can you please tell me how to run it via cygwin? Bat file?

it does not run through cygwin

If you don’t want to reinstall your OS, you can simply use a couple of usb flash drives as follows (I did this to test out a new linux install before fully commiting to it):

  1. UNPLUG ANY HARD DRIVE YOU DON’T WANT TO BE ERASED.
  2. Make a bootable linux install USB drive.
  3. Boot off of said drive (as soon as booting starts, insert the second usb drive).
  4. Install linux onto the second USB drive.
  5. Boot off the second USB drive.

With USB 3.0, this is actually fairly fast. Plus, USB3.0 flash drives are super cheap: Amazon.com

Guys, you can install Ubuntu in dual boot with Win and make it mining ready within 1 hour max. Just follow the same guide as for silentarmy miner, but in the end install Optiminer. That’s it.

Any fix to this?

I have linux on my rigs  (Dual Boot)

Just damn lazy :stuck_out_tongue:

Claymore is releasing today so will wait.

Anybody running rx470 8gb (stock or modded)? Mine are modded (1050/2200Mhz 850v/920v) and I’m not able to run the miner due to a crash on startup. I’m on ubuntu 16.04 and other miners work fine with this setup. I’m not sure if this is from the mod or not (I would hate to have to reflash all cards).

yup and a USB works also, its really easy

I also have this problem occassionally, is this going to get fixed?

Try different pool. (20 chars)

Well, I have GCN 1 cards (7970) on Ubuntu 14.04, and it’s running stable for 18 hours now.

So. Damn. Holy. Shit. SA must catch up^

…in terms of hashrate (4x 7970 + 1x 7870, Ubuntu 14.04):

I don’t have a 280X, but I think a 370 is similar, right? Getting about 77-79 Sol/s on Ubuntu 12.04 on the Nicehash zcash pool. For comparison, with Silent Army v5 I was getting about 45 Sol/s.

Woke up to 1/4 the hash rate… Would be great to have command line options to restart if hash rate drops below certain threshold and also restart on timer. Great work!

no. not similar
