Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

OK. I stand corrected.

check out http://simplemining.net super easy to switch between miners remotely from the web and switch on the fly. Couldn’t be easier to run any Linux miner integrated here.

takes too much cpu , doesn’t worth it yet

Stock clocks RX470 4Gb. Sometimes it happens:

What to check?

On my i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz the load is 33%, same as Claymore v4 with -i 2. However overally with Claymore I had 810W average power consumption on the wall, whereas with Optiminer I have 775W average (4x 7970).

Also sometimes one or few GPU’s don’t hash after few time without any error messages.
I am using:
Asrock H97 annuversary
6x RX470 4Gb
USB Risers
EthOS with 4.8.0 kernel
16.30 amdgpu-pro drivers

Have you setup your miner to pay you on the forked chains?

Optiminer should answer, I’m just guessing, but it looks like the miner runs more stable with fglrx driver than amd-pro. At least I had no problems so far and I’m on fglrx, Ubuntu 14.04. But you need 16.04 and amd-pro for RX 470 right?

Yes if you have a newer rx series card, you would need amd-pro.

I want to know how people are getting 120 sols with stock. Thats what Im getting with oc (with the devfee included).

From my experience all zcash miners run more stable with fglrx.
But for RX series you need amdgpupro.

Different brands of RX give me 122-130 (devfee included) with 1500 memory strips and oc.

Are they the 4 gb versions? I got 100 sols (with dev fee) on msi rx 470 4gb.

I’m getting 118 sols with stock clock (1000/1375) on 7970, 123 sols (hour average) when OCed to 1100 engine/1250 memory. Running stably for almost 20 hours now. fglrx, Ubuntu 14.04.

My 7970/280x on fglrx stable like a rock, lol

250H/s on Fury X…

trololololo jk jk

Some are. It seems hashrate does not correlate with memory size.

Stock clocks differ between models hense the higher Sol/s on some models vs others

but its incomparable to SA v 5

Is it? I don’t know. Didn’t check CPU usage with SA v5, only had it running for minutes before jumping to Optiminer .

Because usually on modded cards you run on lower core clock (ETH style) but with optiminer core clock matters.
