Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

Btw the only problem with claymore’s miner, from the very beginning is stability for me. Hashes play around so much. Optiminer was great about it.

I thought it just seemed to me…

Same here. Sols popping up and down. But overall the hashrate is good.

This miner has high hashrate but claymore is more consistent on pool. this goes up and goes down and mostly stays down. I dont think its effective. If you guys can look at the share find rate of this miner compared to claymore we’ll know better

I donate on a regular basics to devs but not at the fees that you have. Donated my time to problem solving and donating $300 to their team but still besides the point. If I find it balances itself out then so be it I will use and say no more on the subject. Paid out thousands in donations over the years for devs and also free work making things work but this never seen in the 7 years of crypto never seen such a fee most seen is 8% and I was happy to pay but 15% plus extra power ill have to wait to you produce a working windows build to see if it balances its self out or not.

@Optiminer Does your software support extranonce.subscribe? Does it obey the stratum client.reconnect message?

right now - no. already answered in thread… and it’s realy bad. sometimes rigs waitiing for 5-10 seconds to get new work after disconnect (client.reconnect message). and another miner for windows with the same perfomance support it ;(

I’ve never had a problem with 4 gpu’s till this miner. Now my machine freezes 5 minutes into starting this miner. Do you think a 850w + 650w PSU’s are enough juice for 4 - 7950’s?

could be weak cpu? 20 chars

Oh…you got a point. I do have g3200 celeron. You got me thinking now…

FX-4350 would probably be enough.
I have one, never a problem, i even mine on 2-3 threads (out of four)

@Optiminer Until when are you going to put dev fee on your miner? Do you have a threshold of income you see on this miner?.

How about some improvements. The current score for Claymore’s miner is 800H/s ( 6*480 Sapphire 8GB / 1100Watt from the plug)

I agree, have you considered dropping your dev fee so the rates increase?
or can you improve speeds otherwise?

Wow, 1.1 kWh from the wall for 800 Sol/s, that’s not good at all. You should be pulling at most 0.8 kWh total system power.

seems energy performance at v0.3.0 is better than v0.3.1

So nice to know this!

After 10 hours running I get this:

2016-11-14 10:18:39,742 WARN [stratum] disconnecting
2016-11-14 10:18:39,742 INFO [stratum] Retrying connecting to eu1-zcash.flypool.org in 10000 ms.

after restart the miner it’s fixed, so the problem is not in the pool!
Any idea mr optiminer?

I think they might have restarted the pool or something, cause I got the same, and I never got this before (running more than 30 hours).

I had the same problem at the same time. I restarted the miner and the problem went away. All my other machines running other miners (not optiminer) didn’t have a problem.
