Same. 145 - 150 with modded VBIOS.
Yes, I can confirm that, for me, 4x 7970, Optiminer v0.3.3 gives me 507 sols hour average, Claymore v6 gives me 440 sols (on -i 3, -i 4 gives me less).
You think claymore does better than optiminer?
Just a compare to Claymore:
Test-System: HP Microserver N54L
R9 380x GigaByte
Energy= Whole System
Claymore v6.0:
Windows 7
90 sol/s @ 170 Wh
Optiminer v3.3:
Ubuntu 16.4
83 sol/s @ 155 Wh
As I sad its stiff competition on AMD field, if there were Nvidia version there would be no competition atm
Claymore gives higher hash rate if your CPU is good enough to handle it.
If you use -i 4 and the hash rate decreases, that means your CPU is a bottleneck. (even if it’s not at 100% load)
Optiminer was better for me too, until I replaced my Celeron with an i3.
This issue Claymore soved in version 5.0
Apparently some ppl still experience lower hash rate with -i 3 and -i 4 (look a few posts above).
I believe the issue before V5 was that -i 2 gave less hash rate than -i 0 regardless of CPU. Now it’s working correctly.
Pardon me if I misunderstood something.
I think Claymore is better than Optiminer due to the stability issues.
Not sure how it is with the new version.
I belive optiminer will top all others again, it’s a german paramount product:)
Yeah, that is just happening to me. How can I solve it? More cooling?
Upgrading my CPU from Celeron to i3 fixes it for me.
In Claymore, -i 4 now gives more hash rate than -i 0-3
In Optiminer, I get about 2% increase in hash rate.
It freezes the entire system and I have to reboot everytime
Sure that it is the miner?
When I open some porn websites, there runs a lot of garbage scripts that crash the browser now and then.
The error shows a failed js script. I would be suspicious if a miner uses scripts that are meant to be used on websites.
The new fee seems to be 12% based on actual submitted share count, so the fee was not dropped by much. But I am also showing 152 Sol/s (sustained) for a stock R9 290 with an effective rate of 134 Sol/s (152 * 0.88) after deducting the dev fee.
One thing to keep in mind is that improved mining speed is about leveling the playing field. While profits for some will increase, for others it will decrease.
fee is deducted BEFORE you see anything (H/s), no need to deduct it again
with ZEC at $116, zec is just slightly ahead of eth (not by much) without taking into account last 12 hr 20-25% difficulty jump due to competition
I would really like Linux software performing better, because most people are on windows.
It would have given us an advantage.
My setup is a little more advanced than that of an average Joe’s. What I am doing is actually counting the total number of shares submitted to the pool with a fixed difficulty. Then the solution rate is calculated based off that after several hours. From what I see, the reported solution rates by Optiminer actually matches what I’ve calculated on the pool side.
Try to use other riser type. I use new one with my failed before card and it is ok now!!!
USB riser ver 006:
Hi,
Where can we get it in europe ? ebay ?
Thx
Does this miner works on zcash classic ?
Because it’s much more profitable.
