Why are you even bothering with optiminer on win?
Claymore miner is faster.
I’m getting around 15% boost in my 290x cards on ubuntu. Good job! I hope it is stable as 0.3.4 because 0.4.0 wasn’t.
Wonder how fast this miner is without dev fee,sols and stability are most important and maybe you could compete with lower fee 2% I am happy for another port to windows but must be competitive,you are obviously very talented developer so will watch with interest
Trying this out w/Linux (was using 0.3.3 prior to this). My 24 hour average was 373 h/s w/3X RX480 stock settings.
Current optiminer (version 0.5.0) could not compete with current claymore (version 8.0) even if you lower devfee. I am preparing to switch rigs to win as soon as i get more benchmarks for claymore 8.0.
My GPUs seem to be running hotter on V0.5.0. I think my hottest one was running around 75C but now running at 80C. My rig is remote so I can’t see my kill-a-watt to read the power reading, but presumably it’s a bit higher. Whether that’s good or bad really depends on what the average hash rate is (which unfortunately takes a few hours at least to get a good average).
It seems it is time to migrate to win.
Claymore 8.0 gives(repost from other forum):
280x ~210 H/s
480 ~210 H/s
390 ~290 H/s
290x ~277 H/s
fury ~285 H/s
Optiminer 0.5.0 (including devfee) gives (tested by me, overclocked):
480 ~ 170 H/s
390 ~ 215 H/s
370 ~ 95 H/s

Only 5% increase for me
Rigs with R9 380, RX470, and RX480 working fine so far
Rig with 3 x R9 380X keeps crashing/rebooting - Tested with -I 2, -I 3, -I 4 (autodetected) - Reverted to 0.4.0
changed back to v4, v5 make my cards crash
in my rig with default intensity:
280x : 97 S/s to 100S/s
470: 128/S/s to 131S/s
Optiminer has never crashed on my miner (I’m using it from version 3.0, so: ubuntu 16.04 )

I’m get a total of 920+ sol/s from a 5 card R9 290 rig.
R9 290 ~ 185-190 sol/s
Using 0.5.0 I am getting 85 S/s on Asus R7 370 4gb, atitweak adjusted to 1150/1500 comparing with 82.5 on 0.4.0. Intensity on auto and gets to 3. Next-470 rig…
470 rig: 129-130 S/s on average vs 125 on 0.4.0. Card that drives monitor- intensity 3 (auto), the rest-4
I would wait a day or two. Definitely don’t want to do it.
Interesting that the 390 is doing better than the rx480. Im guessing it’s the badwidth capacity of the 390 is greater. More power but still stronger. Thx
In my case, 0.5.0 crashes after a few hours. I’m lucky that the process finishes cleanly so I modified a script I found somewhere to check if a process is running and launch it if not. And this script is fired every minute in crontab.
Do not waste your time developing for windows, for that is claymor. We need more power in linux.

Claymore doesn’t support Nvidia.
And the one that does, isn’t really that optimized.
Every miner start in Linux, don’t be so selfish.
Also, Linux most of the time has better drivers for mining.
My 2x r9 390x gives me around 360 on otiminer 5 with ethos. With no overclocking. But stable with 470W and temp around 65°C.
And what about MSI brand? Is there any miner which is working on any model of MSI?
