Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

His miner was good his business model sucked

Oh, I gotcha. 20 chars

280x/7970 about 160-165 sols on v0.6.0

Now instead of having 90% of something nice, we have 100% of nothing

Good job cheap bastards.

@Optiminer v0.6 isn’t even stable and you’re going to stop releasing updates?

What’s going to happen is that your dev fee income is going to suffer dramatically in the long run. Someone else will fill the void.

Great, faster miner came out while I wasn’t looking. It’s gone now, so hashrate/difficulty going to go up and value go down so mining not worth it for me anymore. Sad panda.

I’m using 0.6 and it’s working great and I’m paying my dev fee. No stability issue’s here (2 MSI RX480 4G and 1 XFX RX480 8G). It’s heating my space quite nicely as well.

Matt

can someone pls upload 0.6.0 i didn’t get a chance to download it.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Thanks optiminer for helping small time schmucks like me sort of keep pace with the rest for as long as you did. I hope you did make a lot for your efforts. FWIW, I’m still paying the dev fee.

um… where did the downloads go? is there a new link? the files are gone from github, wtf…

Developer pulled it off the github because of some greedy guys not willing to pay the dev fee.

and for those who want to pay the fees?

Which is ironic, because nobody new will be paying his dev fee. I really think @Optiminer is shooting himself in the foot.

Yeap. But it seems for him it is a bit more than just a business based on dev fee and I can understand his frustration because of that strange attitude… Some guy even made a software to disable fees in optiminer and was selling it somewhere here on the forum. That’s really weird because the software earns them money and no software = no money.

Would you think the fee is slightly high though?
But if zcash is lets say $100, he’s made almost $20,000 in 2 weeks.

If the miner would have been stable and with better performance then other miners then who cares how much he makes.
I had to switch to windows because optiminer dropped gpu and the performance was lower then claymore

It was more of a reply to vgm above, as he was saying he’s shooting himself in the foot.
Was just saying seems he’s done rather well out of it already it seems.

Good performance, I’m getting around 180sol / s on rx470 8G and RX480 4G. It works pretty stable. With version 0.5.0 I had problems that one or two GPUs were frozen and had to restart the computer. In this version I only had one problem and the script was still running, but there was no Shares. It was solved by stopping and re-executing the script. If I have noticed in the statistics of the pool that the number of Shares has been reduced by half.

i wonder how much silent army code was in it

His address has nearly double hashrate now compared to 24hours ago, wtf?
