ok, it is clear…I’ll sell my 390 and I’ll buy a Nano
To be clear, I’m getting that hash rate and power consumption with a modded GPU rom (my own, very simple mod).
@Optiminer So, at least on the linux side, I’m thinking we are just about at the end of any further performance improvements. Is that about right? No more leaps in network hash rate when the miners all upgrade? ![]()
Just as reference I’m getting between 422 and 426 H/s on stock bios (not checked power consumption on this latest build though). I’ll be very interested to hear of your stability assessment ![]()
The rom mod is mostly a core undervolt of 118 mv. That undervolt allows me to run at stock power draw, but I up the power level setting for the GPU to keep it at 1000 MHz core clock without throttling.
Getting an error while using experimental asm mode for Tahiti cards,
Found solution index out of range: randomnumbers
What is wrong?
Thanks
Forgot to mention, running Linux on latest proprietary drivers.
Hi ZC93,
Just wondering what bios mods you have made to your XFX cards to get such hash rates.
Any chance you could share please.
Thanks
It does not work on NiceHash.
Good afternoon prompt as to correctly configure
–watchdog-cmd
–watchdog-timeout ?
I tried --watchdog-timeout 30 --watchdog-cmd 1
Does not work
I tried --watchdog-timeout 30 --watchdog-cmd reboot
Does not work
Thank you
The problem is that the graphics card stops 1 of 6
Restarts miner and all 6 cards work
I’ve had a host of weird errors (and a few crashes) with 1.4.0. But the weirdest part so far is that the output is saying I’m only getting 109H/sec on my R9 Nano, but flypool is reporting 350+H/sec.

I have same issue, after some time one of the card stops.
@Optiminer please make it work with nicehash again.
Running 6 msi RX 480 4gb on Linux, no noticeable improvement on v1.4.0.
any reply about instructions how to use this option ?
You are not running multiple instances of the miner on the same GPU are you?
I can confirm that 1.4.0 does not always work with nicehash. For details see
Optiminer
Please tell me how to use the correct watchdog, according to the instruction does not work ![]()
Thank you
