Anyone can relate the stability of SilentArmy ? Do you need to reboot periodically ? Is your hashrate stable ?
Silentarmy v3 is very very stable. I havenāt had it crash on me once since it was released and Iām pushing 40-45 Sol/s with each 3x RX 470 and one RX 480. Using flypool
no reboot for me
silent army itās very stable Ubuntu with one GPU Asus Rog Strix RX480 8Gb Hashrate 38/42 Sol/S
and no reject share
I use Suprnova poolā¦
Thank you for your answer. Gonna give it a try as soon as I get my risers. However, last time I tried installing amd driver on Ubuntu gnome I was not able to boot afterā¦
Somebody now wich files to config for just start and go to the stratum without any command ??
Thx
I like that you did it that way, FWIW. Iām planning a donation run and that makes it really simple. Donāt have to figure out what pool or wonder whether my crappy gear will get to minimum payout. Just choose a time frame and run it. Easy.
Anyone have any test data on a AMD 290?
Okay here we are again. WIndows 10 installed. Installed the ālatestā chipset driver from Intel. Then ran Driver Booster 4.0 which showed that the Intel chipset driver is outdated by at least 2 years!?
Installing the AMD driver now. Crossing fingers
Make sure you donāt install the ME driver. That borked my system until I manually uninstalled it.
Uh have to check this.
The rig was working now with one card. When using a 2nd card with the raiser, the system crashes.
atikmpag-sys VIDEO_TDL_FAILURE
Will uninstall the driver and retry with a older version. Also I check the ME driver now.
I do not know what you are doing with these H81 boards, but my 8 boards is running flawless with 6 and 7 GPU. I even ordered some PCIe splitters so 9 GPU should work pr rig.
I really dont know.
Installing Windows 10 64bit
Installung updates exept anniversary
Updating drivers
Installing AMD driver
broken
Well, it worked now with 2 cards. So Windows showed up both cards in the device manager.
But as I started claymore miner, the driver crashed, then got a BSOD with atikmpag.sys VIDEO_TDL_FAILURE
Itās been very stable with standart pool with me, there were pbs with nicehash, not sure theyāre completely solved
Hmmmā¦ sounds like a completly different problem. You have 8GB ram?
Could be you have faulty raiser? What gen pcie did you choose in Bios? Are
you running bios 2.5?
4GB system ram. Will upgrade right away to 8GB.
Faulty raiser was one of my first guesses, so swapped them araund. Have 15 raisers, so I had a lot joy swapping all thinkable combinations.
Bios is 2.30, the latest for my board: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81%20Pro%20BTC/?cat=Download&os=BIOS
Edit//
I added some more cards (after removing the amd drivers). 4 cards get recognized by windows.
So raisers could be fine.
What aboit the PCI communications thing? I removed the ME driver, and now it shows up in the device manager.
Think its for intel management interface. I didnāt even bother installing, and just set it to disabled in device manager.
Just wanted to report that Iāve compiled successfully for Ubuntu 16.04 and Iām running the latest Nvidia drivers v375.10 with as a GTX 1050 TI SC. Running for the past hour with an average of around 17 Sols/s.
Check. Disabled aswell.
Added 5th card. Also found by Windows.
Have been at this stage 4 times before. When I install the amd drivers now it will just fail with ranom BSOD again.
What the heck, Iāll just install 16.9.2 now and see what happens.
I hope you will keep us updated on whether the splitters work or not. How much do they cost now? I saw one article saying $200usd
And what Pcie gen did you use in Bios?
