Wow… 3x470 4g:

Total 251.2 sol/s [dev0 81.6, dev1 84.8, dev2 83.5] 47 shares
Total 253.3 sol/s [dev0 83.1, dev1 85.8, dev2 84.3] 47 shares
Total 252.4 sol/s [dev0 83.4, dev1 86.3, dev2 82.7] 47 shares
Total 252.3 sol/s [dev0 84.9, dev1 87.1, dev2 82.3] 47 shares
Total 253.4 sol/s [dev0 87.6, dev1 89.5, dev2 83.0] 47 shares

does anyone have r9 270oc 2gb to test it? unable to setup ubuntu on it right now :frowning:

mm… speed is growing up to 260+ ^.^

Have you made any timer modifications or are they stock? I have 3x 470s 8GB and they are each running about 70 Sol/s. Are you on 16.04 (AMD PRO drivers) or 14.04 (Catalyst)?

@5thdimension Sorry, Windows support got pushed back. I am working on further optimizations for now. If someone (genoil, zawawa, …) submits a working pull request for Windows support I will merge it.

all of them with modded bios.

user@localhost:~/silentarmy$ apt policy amdgpu-pro
amdgpu-pro:
Installed: 16.40-348864
Candidate: 16.40-348864
Version table:
*** 16.40-348864 500
500 file:/var/opt/amdgpu-pro-local ./ Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

with such cpu usage can get additional 5 sols+ from cpu, it’s without avx :frowning:

Great work! :+1:
20chars…

I’ve been using the nheqminer with the integrated xeno solver for cpu separately from silentarmy and getting 30 Sol/s (i7-6700). Using it with flypool - it’s not just for nicehash.

There are several probably but I’m using this one: GitHub - sarath-hotspot/nheqminer: Equihash miner for NiceHash

thats sad i dont feel to fk with Unix like those 1200+msg driver fail :frowning:

Any chance you could walk me through the process of changing the modded bios (and backing up the stock?).

I have the AMD GPU pro components installed. Thanks

i’ve got an old i5-750, it can’t hash so quick. afaik, for xeno solver cpu needs avx instructions.
About modding, 3 cards are rx470 4gb (1 ref+2 non ref with hynix mmemory), i’ve set timings from 1375 to all others (1375+), 1950m/1000v mem. that’s all. Used polaris bios editor and flashed it with atiflash (dual boot for win)… works stable so far. dunno what to do with 8gb, but seems to me same, but higher mem clocks.
ps don’t care about power consumption…

That sounds right. It would make more sense to get another GPU than to upgrade the CPU.

Help says:

-c POOL, --connect=POOL
connect to POOL, for example
stratum+tcp://example.com:1234 (add ā€œ#xnsubā€ to enable
extranonce.subscribe)

where should we add #xnsub? if i do stratum+tcp://host:port#xnsub it doesn’t connects to pool :frowning:

Very nice thanks

@lamoz Yes it does work:

$ silentarmy -c stratum+tcp://equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357#xnsub -u 1Dxm... -p x

just woke up, looks like gonna be a busy day again today, gonna try this out

This may not pertain to you, but from what I’ve seen so far, CPUs with a L3 cache perform quite a bit better then those without. Like a 12% increase in hashrate. Just noticed this today. Majority of CPUs without L3 cache for some reason aren’t doing so well.

@mrb Tremendous work! Thanks! On my 6 Nano rigs (fglrx) virtual every rig has 1 GPU, various card slots (risers) that are drastically underperforming (i.e. 0-20 sols/sec). Also, some GPUs are around 70 sols/s, but most are near 100. Trying to figure out the uneven performance. In any case, great job!

looks like we need cronjob with git pull && make && ./silentarmy …
