You got onboard graphics enabled? or in use? as I had the same problem until I set graphics to PCI-E and plugged a monitor into the PCIE graphics card.

I used a slightly different command:
sudo usermod -a -G video $LOGNAME #where $LOGNAME is your superuser name
Of note: it is written very confusingly.
You have to install driver, then update user, then reboot.
Only then you install AMD APP SDK, then reboot again.
In nothing is visible on the screen, try to attach HDMI cable to either card in the first (from the left)16X PCI slot OR the last GPU you installed. Make sure that 1XPCI connectors sit tight (they are flimsy); also make sure that everything is connected (sometimes I miss connecting PCIe, LOL). All cards have to light up even before you put any commands on.

With which version/configuration? I have a rig with 6 GTX 1080 and I am just getting 340sol

So you compiled it on windows 10? What bios mods? You can’t even do bios mods on nvidia because the pascal bios are encrypted.

Two instances? I only used the solver to run the test, making script for the miner now
I hope no one is stupid enough to send you money. I can make a miner output appear to be 2 trillion Sol/s, but of course that doesn’t mean it is mining. mrb has supplied his donation address, point your miner to it. Then everyone can see

Would you share a hint of what you did ?
I have been ruining myslef over miners and max i can get is 30% more
