Mining with Linux & NVIDIA GTX 1080

The 1080ti has a bit more vs regular 1080.

Why not 8 1080ti’s?
Both solutions are valid anyways, and both cards have really good efficiency.
With 1080ti you get more sol/s in less space, so if you are planing on expanding your farm you should consider getting “la creme de la creme”.
1080ti should lose less value than 1070 over time.

In my personal case, I’m grabbing all the 1080ti I can find and once stock is over I start looking for other solutions, so 1070 could become a pretty good alternative.

1080 ti > 1080
more sols and efficiency. Some 1080 could be really good and very valid (maybe even more than the 1070, depending on price and brand).

I will probably go with 1080ti, but there is a two GPU limit everywhere I
shop. I’ll just have to try different locations or have my three siblings
buy them for me.

1080ti have great hash with ZEC…I found a great dynamic mining calculator
to draw my conclusion.

I have my rig specs plugged in, but you can add your own:

It’s a two GPU limit, but the fine print that you don’t see is every 48 hours, and per credit card.
So you can order 4 gpu’s 2 per credit card, or 6 gpu’s using 3 credit cards, or wait and order 2 every two days.

all these secrets I give away!

First rule of the mining club is always give away the best information you have.

Yes, give away ALL the secrets! We are a minority anyway, so it’s not like
Joe Blow is figuring out that there’s more to crypto than BTC. BTC was the
first, but is by no means the best. ZEC FTW!

Hello. Here is a video from a GTX 1080 ZEC hasrate. Easy sulution for everyone.

That’s the 1080 @ 525 H/s…its actually not much more than the 1070 FTW @ ~490 H/s OC, considering the price difference. Also the power requirements are much higher with a 1080 than 1070. How is the 1080ti? I’ve been reading 740+ H/s when OC’ed.
