My Rig Zcash mining 7 GPU MSI 1070 Quiksilver 3060 sol/s

7 GPU MSI 1070 Quiksilver 3060 sol/s 1 GPU 430 SOL/s 25-30$/day

RIG
1-Motherboard: Msi z170 pro carbon
2-CPU:I3
3-RAM: 16GB DDR4 XPG 3000MGz
4-GPU: 7X 1070 8G (you can change it)
5-Hard Drive: SSD Kingston 120Gb
6-PSU: 2X Power Supply EVGA 1000W Style:G2
7-Dual PSU Link Cable
8-Risers: 7X Sata Ver006
9-Rig Frame

Impressive. What is your total power consumption for this rig. Haven't you tried to undervolt the GPUs?

This Is First Rig For Me

Thats all great but, can you share some insight about your power consumption?

Rig like that you should mine KMD. Its up and coming and almost as profitable. Its a fork from ZCash and there are 10 known Komodo pools at the moment listed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1605144.0
I mine at Minercity because it goes directly in my wallet and not have to worry about withdrawing coins.
I had to edit because my last message sounded too much like an advertisement.

Really nice rig by the way

I don't know KMD can you tell me more about it

2 PUS
1- 1000W for Motherboard and 4 GPU
2- 850W for 3 GPU

Its a fork from ZCash and a relatively newer coin. Its marketed as being as secure as Bitcoin with the privacy aspects of ZCash. Its mined with Equihash solver and has a much lower network hashrate making it easier to find blocks. You can find it on Bittrex and I think its the best kept secret in cryptocurrency currently and once it hits Poloniex will catch on in a big way.

If you dont mind overclocking. you can get a higher Hashrate on those GPU’s.

Is this power consumption and hashrate from stock settings? Or did you happen to make any modding to the bios?

Will mine work? I'm about to order.

1-Motherboard: MSI Z170A M5 (new BIOS allows 6-7 cards I think)
2-CPU:G4500 (Skylake Pentium, do I need i3?)
3-RAM: 8GB 2400, do I need more?
4-GPU: 7X 1070 8G (you can change it) Thinking about buying the same or maybe 12x 1060s
5-Hard Drive: SSD Kingston 120Gb
6-PSU: 2X EVGA 750 (do you need 2000w here?)
7-Dual PSU Link Cable
8-Risers: 7X Sata Ver006
9-Rig Frame

you must to put RAM: 16GB and 2 PUS
1- 1000W for Motherboard and 4 GPU
2- 850W for 3 GPU

no sir I didnot make anythink .

what is the kind of those GUPs

I have the Zotac 1070 Mini. The core clock is +200 and Memory clock +600, power limit at 112%

I did not mod the Bios.

how many watts per card is one of these GPUs? I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere else but haven't seen it...

Are you sure of the number of GPU that your motherboard can handle? I think that "only" supports 7, so 12x 1060 its not an option.
Im noob but im looking for a good mobo and cant decide (in Spain your choice its 160€).

motherboard : msi z170 pro carbon 7 GPUs 100/100
