New to mining need some help

I have been trying to get my mining going but i keep having the same issue… i need some help. this is what i am getting:

This pool (us1-zcash.flypool.org) does not support ZCash addresses as login (or requires worker name in “Login.Worker” format) and cannot be used for devfee mining, therefore it is not supported.
However, you can mine on this pool if you specify “-allpools 1” option, default pools (different from this pool) will be used for devfee.
Please read “Readme” file for details.

you need to insert a zcash valid address where you have “worker”

this is a example of a valid entry t1JwHhPwHNcFb5hWP8gFCR6XjtzYyNaz6xx.worker
Register on Poloniex or other exchanges who support zcash and generate your personal zcash address

i have an address made in coinbase and put the address <>.worker and still dont work

you have to edit the config.txt and leave the start.bat as it is

i just did that but it is not working… is it possible that coinbase is not supported?

you messed something up
i suggest you do a fresh download
unpack claymore in a clean directory
change the address in config.txt

I did that if i use the program as it comes it works perfect, but as soon as i change the zwal address it gives me an error. also, i created an account in poloniex as you suggested, but i am unable to find the address that i suppose to use

post your config.txt or send me a private message if you are not comfortable to post your address in public

that is a bitcoin address and not a zcash

i read that they did not support zcash address. is that not true? also, if i need a zcash address where can i get it?

i don’t know about coinbase
as i stated earlier, register on Poloniex, they support zcash

Go to deposit at top of page under account. Scroll down to zcash and click deposit. Should show your zcash addy there :slight_smile:

Thanks…I was struggling with this for an hour, only modifying the start.bat file.
