Newbie minner - 1060 config help

Hello there fellow zecheads it’s my first post there!
I want to ask you as a total newbie if that config will be OK:

GPU: 6 x GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 (192 bit) 2x DP, 2x HDMI, DVI-D (STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING)
MOBO: Asus STRIX B250H GAMING, B250, DDR4, SATA3, USB3.1 gen.1, ATX (90MB0TS0-M0EAY0)
RAM: Patriot Viper 4 DDR4, 2x4GB, 2800MHz, CL16 PV48G280C6K
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560, 3.5GHz, 3MB, Box (BX80677G4560)
Disk: SSD Western Digital Green 120GB SATA3 (WDS120G1G0A)
PSU: SilverStone Strider Platinum 1000W (SST-ST1000-PT)

This is my config for one mining rig, I plan to build 5 rigs this month for myself and my question is if its good enought to get 1600-1700 sol/s. I also want to ask if there is any difference betwen win10/linux mining. Also any information about config would be useful

why do you want to choose for the 1060? im no expert by any means, but i think you should be able to achieve the same with having 3 rigs with 1070 in them. you would have less maintenance, less extra hardware (risers, cpu’s motherboards etc)

Ok, so how about config like that but 5x any 1070 instead of 1060s?

You should consider Nvidia’s new GP106-100 dedicated mining cards when they come out.

One of my mining rigs has 4 GTX1050ti’s giving me a combined ~500 h/s for ~500 bucks in cards. So if I were to extrapolate my results across five identical systems, I’d expect - if the mining gods were on my side - approximately 2500h/s from them.
