Just an FYI… If you buy a new EVGA 1300 G2 Power Supply there are two versions… The original has red VGA cables and the newer style has black. I don’t really care about the colors, but the updated version doesn’t have the necessary cables for older Graphics cards. I just bought a new one for my R9 290 rig and it only has (2) 6 pin + 2 + 4 pin cables… not 6… so I think they changed to this cable to accommodate the newer cards that only have (1) 6 pin connection. Luckily I have another rig with another EVGA 1300 G2 (the older style) with just RX 480 Ref cards that I can swap out… but just and FYI… do your homework… Just because you are buying the same “model” of Power Supply… It may be different.
